Deep in the Cutting and Sticking Phase
The kiddie scissors and glue stick are permanent features on our kitchen table. Paper from the recycling basket is being used thrice over before it finally gets snipped so small and get so sticky that is classed redundant. I am (once again) a frequent picker-upper on hands and knees under the table pincering up paper remnants.
Little Sis is very keen on cutting and sticking, and will cut and stick anything.
It brings with it a lot of positives insofar as she is kept content and occupied for many groups of minutes (I hesitate to call the time anything that implies its a long spell!). It gives her a sense of creativity and her fine motor skills are definitely being exercised, the little love.
The cutest thing is when I found one of her creations which had been posted into my bedside drawer. She was so proud. I’m a lucky mummy.
