Time To Smile amidst the Madness

Swamped today. School summer fayre is taking over my life. It’s on Saturday and I feel the world is a bit on hold until then. So, not much time today to write, and let’s be honest not that much stuff to write about! But amidst all the hectic stapling, printing, framing, packing up, planning (oh, amd general mothering), I found this, below. It’s a poem by Brian Moses, and it’s obviously been enjoyed by Big Sis at school and she copied it out into her book review book thing.

It made me smile. I smiled partly because it amused me. But I smiled mostly because I could just imagine how it would have ticked Big Sis when she read it. It’s a bit rude, any rudeness is somehow justified purely because it’s a poem, and poems are good.
