The Very Hungry Cater-preschooler

Little Sis has been super hungry the last day or two. I suspect it’s a cliched growth spurt, but quite honestly, it’s caught me by surprise and I haven’t been able to keep up.

Still, it doesn’t seem to matter whether I am able to provide her with adequate nutrition or not, because the evidence suggests she’s just helping herself now anyway.

The proof:

I found this nibbled apple on the front room rug. Unless the very hungry caterpillar himself has visited, I think I know who the culprit was… Little Miss Hollow-Legs.

Tomorrow it’s going to porridge for brekkie. Fill that tummy ups with oats! And for the time being, I think we’ll lock the cupboards and secure the fridge. I’ll let you know next week if she’s a centimetre taller as a result of all this eating.
